Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 26, 2026

At Hash 34, we understand that your brand identity is your most valuable asset. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, protect, and handle your data to ensure your "first use" claims are secure and verifiable.

1. Information We Collect

  • Identity Verification: We require Aadhaar Card information to verify the identity of the founder or authorized representative.
  • Business Verification: Users must provide MSME Registration details. The name on the MSME certificate must match the name used in your submission.
  • Asset Data: Logos, brand names, slogans, and timestamps of first use.
  • Contact Info: Name, email address, and phone number.

2. Strict Confidentiality & Access Control

  • Internal Access Only: Your uploaded documents and brand assets are strictly confidential. Only authorized Hash 34 verification officers can view and verify your details to confirm the legitimacy of your claim.
  • Non-Disclosure: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or business data to third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Sharing for Verification

  • Trusted Bodies: We may share your data with government authorities, legal regulatory bodies, or trusted verification partners only when strictly required to provide "strong verification" or to support your legal claim in a dispute.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order.

4. Security and Data Protection

  • Storage: We use high-level encryption and secure servers (SHA-256 hashing + HMAC signatures) to protect your data from unauthorized access.
  • Risk Acknowledgment: While we employ rigorous security measures to keep your data private, you acknowledge that digital thefts and cyber-attacks are unpredictable. By using the service, you agree that Hash 34 will not be held liable for breaches beyond our reasonable control, though we pledge to use every industry-standard resource to prevent them.

5. Data Principal Rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

Under Indian law, you have the right to access your records or request a summary of your stored data. However, since the purpose of Hash 34 is "permanent timestamping," deleting a record may invalidate its use as legal evidence.

6. Deletion and Retention

  • Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active to provide you with a permanent record for legal defense.
  • Deletion: If you request account deletion, please note that "timestamped" evidence may be permanent and cannot be deleted due to the nature of the technology.
